Scope
- How to find, view, add, and update bank/payment details in RWS Workzone (for Freelancers, Group Workers, Agencies), Tipalti guidance for Private Individuals, and notification/support contacts.
- Finding payment details in Workzone
- Log into RWS Workzone with your username/password.
- Go to the Profile tab → Payment Details.
- Note: Payment Details tab appears only after your first Purchase Order is issued and is only available for Freelancers, Group Workers, and Agencies. Private Individuals manage bank/payment details via Tipalti.
- Viewing payment details
- The Payment Details tab shows records of payment details for RWS ordering entities you have worked with.
- If you worked with multiple entities, the view is summarized; expand the purple chevron next to an entity line to see detailed payment information.
- RWS may have existing payment details on file that are not displayed in Workzone for privacy/security; those details remain in use unless you request an update.
- If you previously added or amended payment details in Workzone they will be listed there.
- Updating or adding payment details
- Steps:
- On Payment Details tab, select Add New Payment Details.
- Fill in required fields (mandatory fields marked with *).
- Select Submit Payment Details Change Request.
- Submitted changes go to RWS Finance for validation; you will be notified once processed.
- If changes are pending, a warning icon will display next to the entity name.
- If you do not see the Payment Details tab after receiving your first PO, email: vendor.md@rws.com for assistance.
- Payment detail fields (common mandatory fields)
- Nickname (yes) — recognizable name for the bank details provided
- Bank Name (yes)
- Bank Country (yes)
- Bank Account Holder / Payee Name (yes)
- Type of account (yes) — savings or checking/current
- IBAN (yes) — when applicable
- SWIFT/BIC (8 or 11 characters)
- Local Account Number — for accounts in same country as RWS entity
- BIC / Routing Number / Sort Code — bank and branch identifier
- Bank Account Currency (yes)
- Intermediary bank details (optional) — country, SWIFT
- Additional Information — free text for clarifications
Important notes
- Any change to bank details requires Finance validation.
- Name on bank details must match the contracted/registered person assessed and contracted by RWS.
- If you receive a notification that a payment detail change request was submitted and you did not make it, contact your local Talent Manager immediately for investigation.
- Tipalti (for Private Individuals)
- Private Individuals will be invited to register on Tipalti (invitation from rws-payments@rws.com).
- Tipalti lets you select available payment methods (PayPal, Global ACH, wire) and preferred currency depending on method/country.
- You do not need to send invoices if registered as a Private Individual; RWS prepares monthly payments and will notify you by email with the total and payment date.
